E. E. Cummings is one of my strongest influences. I first fell in love with his work when my dad introduced it to me. He did not like Cummings work, but I instantly fell in love with it. I love his use of spacing, or lack thereof, to affect the pacing of his poems. He is accessible, and a great poet for those who aren’t sure if they are into it. He’s just so easy to fall in love with.
