August was rough. I hope September is better.
I want to do some basic bookmaking. I was thinking a journal or small scrapbook type. The stitching looks confusing, but all the sites I’ve looked at claim it is easier than it seems to be.
I’m looking forward to the cold again. The air has been hinting at fall here.

I’ve been suprised how long the warm weather has been hanging on. There’s hardly any trees in town that have even started turning fall colors yet. I remember when I was nine years old, seeing some trees beginning to turn yellow in July. But I am still willing to bet that the temperatures with change fairly quickly over the next few weeks and we probably start seeing soft frosts within that time. Now I sound like a weather girl… (maybe a Halloween costume idea!).
